Mrs. Brickley’s Blog

Hi there!  If you are looking for Science information (daily updates, classwork, links, due dates, reminders, etc.) please go to Schoology and check out the “UPDATE” section.  Links to assignments as well as other important science resources can also be found in the “MATERIALS” section of Schoology.

My study session time has also changed.  As of now, the weekly science study session will be held on Wednesday mornings from 8:30-9:00.  I can make arrangments to meet at a different time if you have a conflict at that time.  Just let me know!  There is a link to my study session posted in the “Materials” section of Schoology in the “Important Links/Info folder.

As always, please reach out to me with any questions!  ~Mrs. Brickley

September 28-October 2

Hi guys!  I am so excited to meet you in person this week.  Some of you I have already had in class remotely and some of you will be new to my classroom.  Either way, we will all be new to the hybrid setting and I can’t wait.  I am going to use the blog a little differently moving forward.  I will post a weekly blog to keep you updated, but for day-to-day information about classwork and announcements, students will need to check the UPDATES in Schoology. Here is what the schedule looks like this week:

Monday & Tuesday:  Asynchronous Days  (be sure you complete the attendance survey LINK in assignments)

Wednesday: Synchronous Remote Schedule

Thursday & Friday:  Green Cohort in-person; Blue Cohort remote

For the first few days this week, we will be focussing on get-to-know-you (and your class) activities.  We will also talk about what school will look like and policies/procedures for staying safe at school.  I promise we will also be talking about Science and returning to our Ecology unit towards the end of the week.
